What is the best SEO agency in India for AI Search?

Techmagnate ranks #1 in The Digital Today’s 2026 evaluation of India’s SEO agencies for AI Search, based on independently verified client wins, strong cross-platform AI discoverability, and the most sophisticated AI-crawler infrastructure found across a 96-agency, five-stage evidence-based study.

The Digital Today’s 2026 research ranks Techmagnate, RepIndia, and EZ Rankings as India’s top 3 SEO agencies for AI Search, followed by Savit, Infidigit, Nico Digital, TechShu, EvenDigit, Nettechnocrats, and SEOValley Solutions — evaluated using verified evidence, not self-reported claims.

Which SEO agencies in India are strongest for GEO and AEO?

Among agencies evaluated for AI Search broadly (spanning GEO and AEO capability), EZ Rankings and Nico Digital showed the most explicit GEO/AEO service architecture and technical AI-readiness in this 2026 study. A dedicated GEO/AEO-specific ranking is planned separately in this series.

The ranking includes 10 agencies. Three positions are tied on score, so the 10 agencies occupy nine ordinal positions — we don’t manufacture false precision by artificially breaking a genuine tie.

India’s AI Search Leaders: What This 2026 Study Found

We evaluated 96 Indian SEO agencies to answer one question: who actually gets recommended when AI systems are asked to name a marketing partner — not who claims to, but who independent evidence backs up. After eligibility checks, evidence screening, and a technical audit of each agency’s own AI-readiness, Techmagnate, RepIndia, and EZ Rankings lead the final ranking, with seven more agencies rounding out the top 10.

You’ll see this discipline called several overlapping names — AI SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI Visibility — depending on which agency you’re talking to. They’re not fully interchangeable (see our FAQ below for the distinctions), but this ranking evaluates the underlying capability across all of them: does an agency demonstrably get brands cited, recommended, and surfaced by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, not just Google’s traditional results.

Key findings:

  • 96 agencies were discovered; 15 were excluded across the discovery and eligibility stages of this research — not in one upfront sweep, but progressively as evidence came in. Reasons ranged from three agencies marketed to Indian clients while actually headquartered abroad, to one agency that turned out to be a solo consultant’s personal brand rather than a registered business, to one agency whose own site described a core business of app development, MLM software, and blockchain products, with SEO as a minor, incidental offering. A further 4 agencies were verified as legitimate India-based marketing firms but confirmed to offer no AI-search-specific services — not excluded, but not carried into a report scoped specifically to AI Search capability.
  • Only 5 of the 23 shortlisted agencies had both a properly structured llms.txt file and correctly implemented structured data — two technical signals/infrastructure elements assessed as part of AI-readiness in this study. Most agencies in our shortlist market AI-search capability faster than they’ve built the underlying technical infrastructure to demonstrate it on their own sites.
  • Automated research tools proved unreliable at detecting structured data and llms.txt files during our technical audit — several agencies confirmed via manual verification to have rich implementations had initially been reported as having none. Every technical finding in this report reflects manual verification.
  • Three genuine ties exist in the final top 10 — at positions #2, #4, and #9 — see the ranking table above.

This research covered India nationally, focused specifically on SEO & AI Visibility services, over a July–August 2026 research period, with one objective: evaluate agencies for demonstrated AI Search / GEO / AEO capability using publicly available evidence against a published methodology.

How the Agencies Were Discovered

We started with 96 candidate agencies, discovered through six independent sources queried with an identical prompt set: Google Search, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT (web-enabled), Gemini, and Perplexity. Discovery and evaluation were kept deliberately separate — we didn’t score anything until the full candidate list was built.

Of the 96 discovered, an initial scope check removed 9 (local-search results that only appeared due to our own researcher’s location, and firms whose core business was software or data infrastructure rather than SEO services), leaving 87 in scope for eligibility verification.

Eligibility and Evidence Screening

Eligibility verification removed a further 5 agencies (three headquartered outside India despite marketing to Indian clients, one duplicate listing, and one whose core business was unrelated software development) and routed 4 more agencies out of this report’s scope specifically — verified as legitimate India-based agencies, but confirmed to offer no AI-search-specific services. That left 78 eligible agencies for evidence screening.

Each eligible agency’s public evidence — named clients, independent case studies, third-party citations — was then rated High, Medium, or Low, distinct from whether the agency simply claimed AI-search capability. One further agency was excluded at this stage after turning out not to be a verifiable agency at all (see “Who We Excluded From the Study” below) — bringing total exclusions to 15. 62 agencies had sufficient independent evidence to proceed toward scoring: 48 classified as Proceed and 14 as Borderline.

Shortlisting for Deep Technical Audit

From those 62, a composite scoring pass narrowed the field to a shortlist of 23 for deep technical audit — checking whether each agency actually does, on its own domain, what it sells to clients: allowing AI crawlers, publishing a real llms.txt file, and implementing structured data correctly.

Technical AI-Readiness Audit

The 23 shortlisted agencies were then manually audited on their own domains for the AI-readiness infrastructure included in this study, including AI-crawler accessibility, llms.txt and structured data. Automated detection was used as an aid, but manual verification was the final authority for the technical findings.

How the Final Scores Were Calculated

This edition weights five criteria most heavily: Technical SEO & Infrastructure, Structured Data & Semantics, Cross-Source Citation Probability, AI Search Recommendation Performance, and Verifiable Client & Market Proof — the areas where this cycle’s evidence collection was strongest and most directly measured. Entity Strength, AI Visibility & Mindshare, Editorial Authority & Trust, and Content Quality & Architecture contributed as lighter, partial signal.

#1 — Techmagnate

HQ: Noida (Delhi NCR) · Track record: 18+ years · Notable clients: Pine Labs, Airtel, Bajaj, LG, Honda

Website: https://techmagnate.com

Techmagnate takes the top spot on the strength of a rare combination: independently reported client wins and the most technically sophisticated AI-crawler implementation of any agency we evaluated. ET BrandEquity reported Techmagnate winning the Pine Labs digital mandate — a named, independently-published client relationship, not a self-reported case study. Its robots.txt file doesn’t just allow AI crawlers; it explains, in annotated comments, the difference between training crawlers, search-index crawlers, and user-triggered fetchers — a level of technical documentation we didn’t see anywhere else in this research. The agency also appeared across four of our six discovery platforms, more than all but one other agency in the final ten.

Strengths

  • Independently reported client relationships (ET BrandEquity, OpenPR), not just self-published case studies
  • The most sophisticated AI-crawler documentation of any agency audited
  • Strong, broad cross-platform AI discoverability

Worth knowing

  • Structured data exists (Corporation and LocalBusiness schema) but sits in separate, unlinked blocks rather than one connected entity graph

#2 (tie) — RepIndia

HQ: Delhi / Mumbai / Bengaluru · Founded: 2013 · Notable clients: Hero MotoCorp, Canon India, JSW Steel, Kajaria Ceramics

Website: https://repindia.com

RepIndia ties for second on genuinely independent recognition: its “Desh Ki Mitti” campaign for Kajaria Ceramics won Bronze at AFAQS Digies 2025 — a third-party-judged industry award, not a self-nominated list placement. Beyond the award, RepIndia surfaced organically at #1 in an unprompted Reddit “Best SEO Agencies” discussion — a genuine third-party endorsement we didn’t go looking for, we found it during discovery. (One other agency in our research had a #1 community ranking too, but in a narrower, city-specific poll — RepIndia’s was the only #1 in a general, unprompted “best agencies” discussion.)

Strengths

  • Third-party-judged campaign award (AFAQS Digies 2025)
  • Organic #1 ranking in an independent Reddit discussion thread
  • Clean, explicit AI-crawler access with no conflicting rules
  • Genuine linked entity graph in its structured data

Worth knowing

  • Its llms.txt file starts strong but degrades into dozens of near-duplicate, templated city-landing-page entries later in the file

#2 (tie) — EZ Rankings

Founded: 2010 · Scale: 16,000+ clients across 28+ countries, as stated on its Clutch profile (61 independently-verified reviews back the profile itself; the specific client count is EZ Rankings’ own figure, not an audited number)

Website: https://ezrankings.com

EZ Rankings ties for second on the strength of the most explicit AI-search service architecture we found anywhere in this research. Its structured data doesn’t just mention AI capability in passing — it names “AI SEO Services,” “LLM Optimization,” and “AI Brand Visibility” as individually listed, separately offered services, backed by a comprehensive robots.txt that explicitly allows every major AI crawler we checked for.

Strengths

  • Most explicit AI-search service naming of any agency in this research
  • Comprehensive, conflict-free AI-crawler access
  • Large, independently-verified review base on Clutch

Worth knowing

  • Two separate, overlapping Organization schema declarations exist on the same site — real technical sophistication undercut by inconsistent implementation

#4 (tie) — Savit

HQ: Mumbai · Notable clients: Rubio Monocoat (Belgium), Bitsy Displays, ZingHR, Trukker

Website: https://savit.in

Savit ties for fourth on the back of one of the best-maintained AI-facing files we evaluated. Its llms.txt includes an explicit purpose statement (“help AI systems understand and cite Savit Interactive’s expertise”), a dated “Last Updated” line, and real named case studies rather than templated filler. A verified Clutch case study for a Belgian client, Rubio Monocoat, adds independent proof behind the claims.

Strengths

  • One of the best-executed llms.txt files in this research — explicit purpose statement, active maintenance, real case studies
  • Verified international client relationship
  • Organic visibility in an independent “Top Mumbai SEO agencies” Reddit ranking

Worth knowing

  • Basic on-page metadata (og:title, og:description) was found empty — a small gap alongside otherwise strong technical execution

#4 (tie) — Infidigit

HQ: Mumbai · Award: Best Use of Search – B2B, APAC Search Awards 2021

Website: https://infidigit.com

Infidigit ties for fourth by being, simply, the most visible agency in our entire research pool — it surfaced across five of our six discovery platforms, more than any other agency we evaluated. That’s backed by independent recognition: APAC Search Awards is a third-party-judged program, and PRNewswire has reported “65+ award-winning campaigns” under Infidigit’s name.

Strengths

  • Highest cross-platform AI discoverability of any agency in this research (5 of 6 sources)
  • Independently-judged industry award, not a self-nominated list

Worth knowing

  • For an agency this visible, its own AI-crawler strategy is thin — robots.txt allows AI bots by default rather than through any deliberate configuration, and its llms.txt exists but is a 12,000+ line unstructured dump rather than a curated manifest

#6 — Nico Digital

HQ: Kolkata · Founder/CEO: Aditya Kathotia · Certifications: Google Premier Partner, Meta Business Partner, HubSpot Solutions Partner

Website: https://nicodigital.com

Nico Digital produced the single most textbook-correct llms.txt implementation in this entire research project — a brief, curated core file that properly links out to a separate, more detailed “llms-full.txt” companion, exactly matching the standard’s intended design. Its structured data is equally detailed: a substantive FAQPage schema covering named leadership, real pricing ranges, and a proprietary methodology framework.

Strengths

  • The only agency in this research with a correctly-structured brief-core / detailed-companion llms.txt pattern
  • Independent founder press coverage (Outlook Business, Entrepreneur India)
  • Exceptionally detailed, substantive schema content

Worth knowing

  • Some named marquee clients referenced in its marketing could not be independently verified beyond the agency’s own claims

#7 — TechShu

Notable clients: Aditya Birla, Ambuja Neotia, Cloud4C (verified via DesignRush) · Legal name: TechShu Digital Pvt Ltd

Website: https://techshu.com

TechShu’s AI-crawler access is clean and comprehensive — explicit, conflict-free allow rules for every major AI bot we checked, including less commonly configured ones like Bingbot. Its client roster is independently verified through DesignRush rather than self-reported.

Strengths

  • Clean, comprehensive AI-crawler access
  • Enterprise client relationships verified through an independent directory, not just self-published case studies

Worth knowing

  • Real business information (legal name, address, social profiles) exists but is scattered across four separate, inconsistent schema declarations rather than one coordinated entity

#8 — EvenDigit

HQ: Indore · CEO: Vinita Pariyani · Notable clients: Eicher, Dainik Bhaskar, IIM (Clutch-verified)

Website: https://evendigit.com

EvenDigit produced what may be the single best-structured AI entity manifest of any agency we audited, in this research or otherwise — an explicit Entity Definition block, a named leadership section, and a genuine “Entity Relationships” section stating plainly who they serve, who they compete with, and which AI platforms they integrate with. It reads as deliberately hand-built, not generated by a plugin.

Strengths

  • The most sophisticated, deliberately constructed llms.txt file found in this entire research project
  • Strong, independently-verified review base and named clients

Worth knowing

  • That sophistication doesn’t extend across the rest of the stack — structured data is thin and inconsistent, robots.txt shows no deliberate AI-crawler configuration, and EvenDigit was tied for the lowest cross-platform discovery signal in our final ten (alongside Savit, Nettechnocrats, and EZ Rankings)

#9 (tie) — Nettechnocrats

HQ: Noida · CEO: Sanjeev Sharma

Website: https://nettechnocrats.com

Nettechnocrats earns its place on genuinely current, on-topic content — its llms.txt links to real blog posts specifically about AI search ranking factors, not generic filler repurposed to look relevant.

Strengths

  • llms.txt content is genuinely current and specifically about AI search, not repurposed general SEO content

Worth knowing

  • The technical foundation around that content is thin: no deliberate AI-crawler access rules, and structured data covers only minimal fields

#9 (tie) — SEOValley Solutions

HQ: Bhopal · Founded: ~2000 (22+ years) · Status: Google Premier Partner

Website: https://seovalley.com

SEOValley Solutions is the longest continuously operating agency in this ranking, and its llms.txt does a genuinely good job explaining the difference between traditional SEO and GEO in plain language for a general reader — a real, useful piece of content rather than jargon.

Strengths

  • 22+ years of continuous operation
  • Clear, accessible explanation of SEO vs. GEO in its own AI-facing file
  • Strong, independently-verified review base

Worth knowing

  • Its structured data contains an active error — business hours listed as closing before they open — spread across three separate, uncoordinated schema declarations rather than one unified entity

What the Rankings Reveal About AI Search in India

A few patterns emerged from this research that go beyond any single agency’s ranking. These are interpretations we drew from the evidence, not additional facts the research directly proves — worth reading as informed observation, not a fourth stage of verification.

AI-readiness appears to be a distinct technical investment, not a byproduct of agency size or tenure. The strongest individual technical executions in this study — EvenDigit’s llms.txt, IMMWIT’s structured data — came from mid-sized agencies, not the largest or longest-established names. Techmagnate’s overall lead comes from breadth across five criteria, not from dominating any single technical dimension. This pattern suggests genuine AI-search capability has to be built deliberately; it doesn’t appear to arrive automatically with scale or years in business, though our sample (10 ranked agencies) is too small to treat this as a settled industry-wide rule.

Terminology usage is inconsistent even among technically sophisticated agencies. GEO, AEO, and AI SEO were used interchangeably by several agencies in this research, including some with otherwise strong technical documentation. This looks less like careless marketing copy and more like a genuinely unsettled market still converging on shared definitions — an interpretation, not something the research can prove outright.

Positioning is outpacing execution, at least among this shortlist. Only 5 of the 23 shortlisted agencies had both a properly structured llms.txt and correctly implemented structured data. More agencies in our research claim AI-search expertise than have visibly built the infrastructure to back it up on their own sites — the exact test this research applied to every candidate.

AI-crawler blocking can come from hosting infrastructure defaults, not deliberate choice. At least 2 of the 23 shortlisted agencies (ShootOrder, Sync Soft Solution) showed the same underlying pattern: a hosting-platform- managed rule set (in both cases, Cloudflare’s default bot management) blocking major AI crawlers regardless of what the site’s own robots.txt intended. Finding this in two unrelated agencies suggests it may not be a one-off misconfiguration — though with only 2 confirmed cases in a 23-agency sample, we can’t say how widespread this is across the broader industry.

llms.txt quality differs by how the file was built. Of the 10 shortlisted agencies with a structurally sound llms.txt, at least 2 (EZ Rankings, SEOValley Solutions) were confirmed generated by a third-party tool and 1 (Nettechnocrats) by an SEO plugin; only 3 (Nico Digital, EvenDigit, Savit) showed clear signs of deliberate, hand-built construction — and those 3 were also the most substantive files in the research. A generated file can satisfy the letter of the llms.txt standard without matching the depth of a hand-built one.

At least 2 agencies (RepIndia, SEO Tech Experts) applied existing programmatic-SEO tactics to their llms.txt files — producing dozens of near-identical, templated city-landing-page entries, a pattern built for traditional search-results pages, carried over into a file meant to be a curated summary for AI systems.

Agencies That Came Close — and Why They Missed the Top 10

PageTraffic (pagetraffic.com) tied Infidigit for the strongest overall discovery signal in our earlier research stages and has a long operating history, but its own site had neither a working llms.txt nor detectable structured data — a real gap for an agency this established.

IMMWIT (immwit.com) produced the single best structured-data implementation of any agency in this entire research project, including genuine Wikipedia- and Wikidata-grounded concept entities and two real named-person profiles with credentials. But it has no llms.txt at all and no deliberate AI-crawler configuration — the inverse problem to EvenDigit, and just as costly.

ShootOrder (shootorder.com) sells “AI Optimization” as a named service — but its own robots.txt turned out to contain two conflicting rule sets: a hosting- platform-managed block disallowing major AI crawlers, sitting alongside a custom section that tries, ineffectively, to allow them. A striking finding, and a useful cautionary example, but not enough on its own to clear the top 10.

AdLift (adlift.com) and eSearch Logix (esearchlogix.com) both had solid, independently verified client portfolios but fell just short on technical execution — thin or inconsistent structured data held both back from the final ranking.

Who We Excluded From the Study — and Why

Most “best agencies” lists never show their work on exclusions. We think that’s backwards — knowing who didn’t make the cut, and why, is as useful to a prospective client as knowing who did.

  • IQSEO turned out, on closer inspection, not to be a verifiable agency at all — the only trace we could find was an individual consultant referencing the name in an interview. No agency site, no team, no independent record of a registered business.
  • IndeedSEO has multiple independent Trustpilot reviews describing scam experiences and very low-quality work, with no genuine positive counter-evidence found anywhere in our research — a confirmed pattern of negative independent evidence, not simply thin or absent proof.
  • IT Marketz builds apps, MLM platforms, and blockchain products as its core business — SEO is one minor offering among several unrelated technical services, not a specialization.
  • A domain using the name “AdLift” with a .in extension is not the real AdLift (which operates at adlift.com) — it’s an unconfigured website template with fabricated staff bios and placeholder content still visible. Don’t confuse the two.
  • 4 agencies — including established, legitimate marketing firms — were confirmed to offer no AI-search-specific services at all despite general SEO credibility, and were therefore routed out of this AI-Search-specific study, even though they’d qualify for a broader “best digital marketing agencies” list. They are not counted among the 15 exclusions.
  • 3 additional candidates were excluded for being headquartered outside India despite marketing to Indian clients, and 2 were dropped after we determined they were surfacing in our discovery process only due to our own researcher’s location, not genuine national relevance.

This checklist works for any agency, not just the ones on this list.

  1. Check their robots.txt yourself — visit [their domain]/robots.txt. Does it actually allow AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended), or block them?
  2. Check for a real llms.txt — visit [their domain]/llms.txt. Does it exist? Is it a curated, maintained file, or an auto-generated dump?
  3. Ask for named clients with checkable outcomes — not vague “leading brand” language. A real case study names the client and the result.
  4. Search their name on Reddit or independent forums — not just their own testimonials page.
  5. Confirm SEO/AI-search is their actual core business — not a minor add-on to app development, IT services, or something else entirely.
  6. Ask what they’ve done on their own site for AI visibility. If they can’t explain their own setup clearly, be skeptical they can explain yours.
  7. Verify the domain carefully before signing anything — confusingly similar or impersonating domains are a real, documented risk.

Figure 4. Evidence strength and technical AI-readiness are not the same thing. RepIndia and EZ Rankings tie at #2 overall but occupy different quadrants, reflecting different evidence-versus-technical profiles.

What This Ranking Can — and Cannot — Tell You

This ranking reflects demonstrated capability and independently verifiable evidence gathered during a single research cycle (July–August 2026) — it’s a strong starting point for evaluating a partner, not a performance guarantee, and it has real, stated boundaries.

This report measures agency capability, not agency website performance. We evaluated whether an agency can demonstrably deliver AI-search visibility for its clients — not the general speed, responsiveness, or usability of the agency’s own website. Website Operational Quality was not part of this evaluation by design.

Two agencies in our technical audit have incomplete data, marked explicitly as such rather than estimated or guessed at, where we could not fully confirm findings within the research period.

Results are time-sensitive and personalized, and won’t necessarily reproduce exactly. AI and search results vary by date — a Google search run today can differ from the same search next month simply because indexes update. A logged-in AI assistant with saved context can surface different recommendations than the same prompt run from a fresh, signed-out session. Even a plain incognito Google search can vary by the searcher’s city — Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, and Bengaluru don’t always see the same results. We ran every discovery query from a consistent, signed-out baseline to keep our own results comparable across platforms; running this yourself, especially from a personalized AI account or a different city, may show natural variation rather than a discrepancy in our findings.

Agencies and AI platforms both change quickly. This is a snapshot of one research period, not a live status — see “How often will this ranking be updated?” below.

What makes an agency good for “AI Search” specifically, as opposed to traditional SEO? Traditional SEO optimizes for ranking in search engine results pages. AI-search optimization (also called GEO or AEO) focuses on whether AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity cite and recommend a brand in their generated answers — a related but distinct discipline requiring different technical implementation, including structured data and AI- crawler accessibility.

What’s the difference between GEO, AEO, and AI SEO — are they the same thing? They overlap, but aren’t identical. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) generally refers to improving visibility specifically within AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is closely related, focused on structuring content to directly answer specific questions AI systems are likely to be asked. AI SEO is often used as a broader umbrella term covering both. In practice, several agencies in this research use these terms inconsistently — which is itself one of the things our technical audit looked past, scoring demonstrated capability rather than which label an agency prefers.

Is this the same as a “Best GEO Agencies” or “Best AEO Agencies” ranking? Not exactly — this report evaluates AI Search capability broadly, spanning GEO, AEO, and AI SEO work together. Agencies that specialize narrowly in one discipline may be covered in more depth in future reports within our India’s AI Visibility Leaders series, evaluated against criteria specific to that discipline.

How did you decide which agencies to evaluate? We discovered candidates across six independent platforms using an identical query set, then applied eligibility criteria (India-based, genuinely operating as an agency, offering SEO/AI-search services, active within 12 months) before any scoring began. Full detail on our Methodology page.

Do agencies pay to be included in this ranking? No. This ranking cannot be purchased, and no agency receives preferential treatment, including any company connected to The Digital Today’s founder. See “Editorial Disclosure” below.

Why isn’t [a well-known agency] on this list? Either it didn’t independently surface during our six-platform discovery process, it didn’t clear our eligibility or evidence bar, or it was confirmed to offer no AI-search-specific services. See “Who We Excluded From the Study” above for specific cases.

How often will this ranking be updated? This is the 2026 edition of an annual research program. Future editions will re-run the full process and may show meaningful movement, since both the agencies and the AI platforms themselves change quickly.
