The Digital Today publishes rankings, technical benchmarks, and independent research about companies, software ecosystems, and digital agencies. Because our founder operates other ventures in the AI infrastructure, digital marketing, and research consulting sectors, we believe absolute transparency is the only way to build and keep your trust. We don’t hide our commercial relationships behind corporate layers — here’s our structure, stated plainly.
Ownership and related ventures. The Digital Today is founded, owned, and published by Anurag Gupta. He is also the founder of:
- KickAss Digital Marketing (kickassdigitalmarketing.com) — a digital marketing and internet services agency.
- ShodhDynamics — a research, data analysis, and strategic consulting practice focused on how AI systems process trust and recommendation.
- ZozoStack (zozostack.com) — an AI infrastructure toolset built by Anurag Gupta, including the ZAES and ZAEL plugins that power this site’s own schema and llms.txt implementation. Currently in development; ZAEL is planned for public release via WordPress.org in August 2026, with broader commercialization under the ZozoStack brand to follow.
A forward-looking commitment. As ZozoStack’s tools become public, commercial products, they’ll be subject to the same rule as KickAss: if The Digital Today ever evaluates AI-schema tools, WordPress plugins, or AI-visibility infrastructure — a category ZozoStack will compete in — ZozoStack is assessed under the same published methodology as any competitor, with no preferential treatment. We’re stating this now, before it’s a live question, not after.
Strict operational separation. Because these ventures can operate within categories The Digital Today covers — agency rankings, AI visibility benchmarks, software and marketing-tech reviews — we enforce a firm separation:
- No related venture receives algorithmic bias, positioning advantages, or preferential placement on this site.
- If a related venture (or its clients) appears in any ranking or benchmark, its position is decided entirely by the same published methodology applied to every other company we assess — with no exemption from criticism.
- Proprietary technical insights or client data belonging to any related venture are never used in our research without that client’s explicit written consent.
Commercial content. Any sponsored article, partner feature, or paid placement is labeled clearly at the top of the page — “Sponsored,” “Partner Content,” or “Advertisement.” Paid placement applies only to standalone promotional content. An editorial ranking, research entry, or benchmark score can never be purchased — by a related venture or any outside party.
AI-assisted production. See our Editorial Policy for how we use AI tools and maintain human accountability over their output.
Open accountability. Managing cross-industry interests takes constant vigilance. If you believe a ranking, review, or report reflects a conflict of interest we haven’t adequately declared or addressed, we invite you to say so directly: disclosure@thedigitaltoday.in
