Editorial Policy

Last Updated: July 31, 2026

The Digital Today (thedigitaltoday.in) is an independent editorial research publication covering artificial intelligence, search ecosystems, digital visibility, and the future of business discovery in India and globally.

Our promise to readers is simple: our editorial judgment is not for sale. It is never shaped, influenced, or altered by advertising, commercial sponsorship, or affiliate partnerships.

Absolute editorial independence. All rankings, industry benchmarks, and research findings are produced using the frameworks detailed on our Methodology page. No enterprise, software provider, agency, or individual can purchase a placement, buy a higher ranking, or pay for inclusion in any report we publish. Any future monetization (display advertising, sponsorship banners) will be kept completely separate from research output.

Sourcing and evidentiary standards. Every analytical claim, market metric, and evaluation we publish is backed by publicly available evidence, verifiable data, or direct testing wherever practical. Where evidence is scarce or unverified, we say so explicitly rather than filling the gap with assumption.

Bylines. Content on this site is published under the institutional byline “The Digital Today Research.” Regardless of byline, every fact is independently verified before publication.

Responsible AI-assisted production. We use AI tools to scale our research and drafting workflow — for market research and data parsing, structural drafting, semantic analysis, and copy-editing, and occasionally to assist with editorial imagery, infographics, and charts. No article, report, or creative asset is ever published without human review. A human editor reviews, fact-checks, and takes final responsibility for every word, chart, and figure published. As the team grows, this practice — and this policy — will be updated to reflect that.

Regulatory compliance. The Digital Today adheres to the Code of Ethics prescribed under India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including fairness and accuracy in our assessments, respect for intellectual property, and a structured, timely process for reader grievances and corrections.

Corrections. We keep a transparent record of our mistakes. When factual errors occur, they’re corrected swiftly and on the record — see our Corrections Policy for how to report one.
