Fifty verified SEO agencies surfaced in the Google Search/AI Overview discovery layer of The Digital Today’s 2026 India AI Search research. We tracked which of them also appeared in Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity — and how far each progressed when discovery gave way to evidence screening and technical evaluation.
What are the 50 SEO agencies that surfaced in the research?
The 50 agencies below were verified as part of The Digital Today’s 2026 research and surfaced in the study’s combined Google Search/AI Overview discovery field.
This is not a Top 50 ranking.
Being listed here means an agency entered the research through Google discovery and subsequently cleared the study’s basic verification stage. It does not mean the agency was recommended, scored equally, or ultimately qualified for the final ranking.
The table also shows whether the same agency surfaced elsewhere during the research.

*The public candidate-universe dataset stores Google Search and Google AI Overview in one combined discovery field. The original research methodology treated Google Search and AI Overview as separate discovery environments, alongside Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. “Recorded discovery breadth” here therefore refers to the fields preserved in the master candidate table, not a new ranking score.
Agencies are grouped by discovery breadth and alphabetically within each breadth level. Breadth measures where an agency surfaced during this research cycle; it does not measure agency quality.
What the 50-agency discovery data shows
The useful part of this list is not the number 50. It is what happened after those names surfaced.
1. Google visibility did not automatically translate into AI-platform visibility
All 50 agencies in this table surfaced in the Google Search/AI Overview layer.
Only 30 also appeared in at least one of the other recorded AI discovery environments.
That leaves 20 of 50 — 40% — visible in the Google discovery layer but absent from Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity in the logged research sessions.
The comparison should not be read as a permanent visibility score. Search and AI outputs are time-sensitive and can change by prompt, location, index updates and platform behaviour.
It does, however, show why “we rank on Google” and “we surface when an AI system is asked for agencies” are not interchangeable claims.
2. Cross-platform discovery was concentrated among a small group
Only two agencies — Infidigit and PageTraffic — appeared in the combined Google Search/AI Overview field and all four of the other platform fields recorded here: Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Five more appeared across four recorded channels.
Seven appeared across three.
Sixteen appeared across two.
Twenty appeared only in Google Search/AI Overview.
In other words, the discovery universe quickly developed a long tail: a relatively small number of agencies appeared repeatedly across systems, while many were platform-specific.
That matters because a single search result can make a business look highly visible even when that visibility does not travel well across discovery environments.
3. Broad discovery did not decide the final ranking
This was deliberate.
PageTraffic had one of the broadest discovery footprints in the entire candidate universe, appearing across all five recorded platform fields shown here. It progressed to the deep technical audit but did not make the final Top 10.
EZ Rankings shows the opposite pattern. It appeared only in the combined Google Search/AI Overview field in this particular discovery dataset, yet later ranked joint #2 after stronger evidence and technical signals were evaluated.
EvenDigit, Savit and Nettechnocrats also reached the final Top 10 despite appearing only in the Google field recorded here.
That is why discovery and evaluation were kept separate from the beginning.
A company surfacing frequently can tell us something about discoverability.
It cannot, by itself, tell us whether the company has stronger client evidence, better technical implementation, more credible claims or greater capability than a company that surfaced less often.
4. Only 18 of these 50 reached the deep technical audit
After verification came independent evidence screening and scoring.
Eighteen of the 50 agencies shown here eventually entered the 23-agency technical audit used in the flagship study.
Ten reached the final ranking.
The rest did not necessarily “fail” in the everyday sense of being poor agencies. Different firms stopped progressing for different reasons: evidence strength, scope, relevance to AI Search, later-stage scoring or specific editorial concerns.
The important point is methodological:
Surfacing was the beginning of the research process, not the conclusion.
A discovery system can put a company into the candidate set. It cannot replace verification.
Why this is not a “Top 50 SEO Agencies” ranking
Search results are full of numbered agency lists. They are easy to skim, but the format often collapses three separate questions:
- Which companies were discoverable?
- Which companies met the research criteria?
- Which companies actually ranked highest after deeper evaluation?
This page deals primarily with the first question and shows what happened to those names later.
The final ranking answers the third.
Calling these businesses the “Top 50” would imply that every agency was comparatively scored to establish positions from #1 through #50. That did not happen, and the research does not support such a claim.
The Digital Today therefore uses surfaced, verified, shortlisted and ranked as different terms.
Surfaced
The agency appeared during the discovery process.
Verified
The organisation was confirmed as a legitimate, relevant agency within the study’s eligibility rules.
Shortlisted
The agency survived further filtering and progressed into deeper evaluation.
Ranked
The agency received the final comparative scoring used for the published Top 10.
Those stages should not be treated as synonyms.
How the agencies were discovered
The original research did not begin with a hand-written list of familiar agency brands.
Candidate discovery was run across Google Search, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, web-enabled ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity using a consistent research framework.
The objective at that stage was breadth, not endorsement.
The initial universe reached 96 candidate agencies.
The study then removed local-only results caused by researcher location, duplicates, organisations outside the intended India scope, firms whose core business did not fit the study, and other candidates that failed the published eligibility checks.
Eighty-three agencies were verified after Stage 2.
The 50 names in this article are the verified agencies that had appeared in the combined Google Search/AI Overview field recorded in the candidate-universe dataset.
The full 96-company universe, verification status, discovery-source data and methodology are available in The Digital Today’s India’s AI Visibility Leaders 2026 research dataset.

What businesses should take from this list
If you are using this research to build an agency shortlist, do not simply choose the names with the highest discovery breadth.
Use the table to identify candidates, then investigate the evidence behind them.
At minimum, check:
- whether SEO and AI Search are genuinely important service lines for the agency;
- whether named client outcomes can be independently verified;
- whether newer labels such as GEO, AEO or AI SEO are backed by actual work rather than recently added service-page language;
- whether the agency can explain how it measures visibility across different AI systems;
- whether its own technical implementation is consistent with what it recommends to clients;
- whether independent reviews, press, case studies or industry evidence support the claims made on its own website.
The flagship research used those later layers precisely because discovery alone produced too much noise.
What this discovery map can — and cannot — tell you
This article records a research snapshot from July–August 2026.
It can tell you which verified agencies appeared in the logged Google discovery layer and which of those also surfaced in other AI-search environments during the same research cycle.
It cannot tell you that an agency will appear for every user, prompt or location.
It also cannot tell you that an agency appearing across four platforms is necessarily better than one appearing across one.
Search results vary by geography. AI systems can vary by session, prompt wording, personalisation, retrieval configuration and date. The underlying indexes and source relationships also change.
This is one reason The Digital Today preserves discovery data rather than rewriting past research to match current outputs.
A later edition may look different.
That difference will itself be useful data.
A wider point: discoverability is becoming fragmented
The most interesting observation from this 50-agency subset is not which individual company appeared where.
It is how little a single discovery environment tells us about the whole market.
Twenty agencies surfaced only in Google Search/AI Overview.
Others appeared in Google plus one additional system.
A much smaller group travelled across several discovery environments.
And some agencies with relatively narrow discovery footprints ultimately performed strongly once independent evidence and technical capability were examined.
This suggests businesses should be careful about treating any one platform as a complete map of a market.
Google can expose one candidate set.
ChatGPT can expose another.
Gemini or Perplexity can add firms the first systems missed.
That does not make one answer objectively correct and another wrong. It shows why AI-mediated commercial discovery needs to be studied as a multi-source environment rather than as a replacement SERP with a new interface.
The Digital Today will continue tracking that distinction across future editions of the India’s AI Visibility Leaders research series.
Common questions about SEO agency visibility in Google and AI Search
Do the same SEO agencies appear in Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity?
No. The Digital Today’s 2026 research found substantial differences between discovery environments.
Among the 50 verified agencies that surfaced in the study’s Google Search/AI Overview field, 30 also appeared in at least one of Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. Twenty appeared only in the Google field during the recorded research sessions.
This means visibility in one discovery system should not be assumed to translate automatically into visibility in another.
The complete discovery data is available in The Digital Today’s India’s AI Visibility Leaders 2026 research dataset.
Which SEO agencies appeared across the most AI and search platforms in the study?
Infidigit and PageTraffic had the broadest recorded discovery footprint, appearing in all five platform fields preserved in the candidate dataset: Google Search/AI Overview, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Techmagnate, Black Marlin Technologies, FactoryJet, Qoulomb and ThatWare appeared across four recorded discovery fields.
Discovery breadth measures where an agency surfaced during the research period. It is not a measure of agency quality or a ranking factor.
Does ranking or appearing in Google mean an SEO agency will also appear in ChatGPT?
No.
The research found 20 verified agencies that surfaced in Google Search/AI Overview but did not surface in Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity during the logged discovery sessions.
The finding does not mean those agencies can never appear in an AI answer. It shows that Google visibility and AI-mediated discoverability were not equivalent in this research snapshot.
Does appearing on more AI platforms mean an SEO agency is better?
No.
Cross-platform visibility was treated as a discovery signal, not a substitute for evidence.
For example, PageTraffic had one of the broadest discovery footprints in the study but did not enter the final Top 10. EZ Rankings had a much narrower recorded discovery footprint but later ranked joint #2 after independent evidence and technical signals were evaluated.
The final comparative results are published in Best SEO Agencies in India for AI Search (2026): Top 10 Ranked.
Why do different AI platforms surface different SEO agencies?
Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity do not operate as one shared recommendation system.
They can differ in their indexes, retrieval systems, available sources, source relationships, query interpretation and answer-generation processes. Results can also change with prompt wording, location, time and product updates.
The Digital Today’s dataset therefore records where an agency surfaced during a defined research period rather than treating any one AI response as a permanent ranking.
Which SEO agencies in India are visible in AI Search?
There is no single fixed list because AI visibility changes by platform, query and time.
In The Digital Today’s 2026 research, some agencies appeared across several discovery environments while others appeared only in Google or one AI platform. Infidigit and PageTraffic showed the broadest recorded discovery footprint among the 50 agencies analysed in this article.
For the wider candidate universe and platform-level discovery data, see the India’s AI Visibility Leaders 2026 research dataset.
How should a business use AI Search agency lists when choosing an SEO agency?
Treat discovery lists as a starting point, not as proof of capability.
After identifying potential agencies, verify:
- named client work and measurable outcomes;
- independent reviews and third-party evidence;
- whether AI SEO, GEO or AEO services involve demonstrated capability rather than only new terminology;
- technical SEO competence;
- how the agency measures visibility across different AI systems;
- whether its claims can be independently corroborated.
The distinction between discovery and evidence is also explained in The Digital Today’s 2026 Top 10 AI Search agency research.
