Accuracy and intellectual honesty are the foundation of our research and reporting. We verify carefully, but mistakes can still happen. When a factual error occurs, we fix it transparently and put it on the record.
Material corrections vs. minor updates. Any change to a factual claim, a score, a ranking, a data point, or an editorial conclusion gets an explicit correction note attached to the article — we never quietly edit a published finding. Typos, formatting, broken-link fixes, and other non-substantive edits are made without a note.
How corrections are documented. A visible note is added to the article, stating the date of the change and what was corrected. If the change affects an entire report or index, we also note it on that project’s master landing page for the benefit of anyone reading it later.
Reporting an error. Email editorial@thedigitaltoday.in with the exact URL, a clear description of the disputed fact, and any supporting evidence. In line with India’s IT Rules, 2021, we acknowledge receipt within 24 hours and aim to resolve valid factual disputes within 15 days.
When an error points to a bigger problem. If a mistake reveals a flaw in our underlying methodology or scoring approach, we don’t just fix the one page — we pause, re-evaluate the framework on our Methodology page, and publish that update transparently.
